The Oatmeal Pancakes were awesome. The biscuits and gravy were a strong second. Everything else is worth the visit. My girlfriend’s burger was overcooked as well as her fries and the pineapple cocktail was just awful, almost like the bartender left out a couple of ingredients. Our waitress was sweet but just missed on a few things. For instance, I ordered bacon as a side and got sausage. I ordered a side of grits, no spoon. We wanted to try the pancakes but she had to be reminded. Small issues but enough to lower the rating. I suspect this place is better than we experienced, so I do encourage all to try it. The pancakes alone are worth the trip.

Tough to leave this review. Great cooks and servers. Been a staple of mine for the last 6 years. Problem is shrinkflation in the form of tiny portion sizes. Just increases prices. I even asked them to check the portion during phone call order to confirm it was to expected sizing. Getting home to a tiny pot roast brisket serving is disappointing.

I moved out of the country 3 years ago and still think of the steak frites here weekly at least. I miss coming by after work for dinner and a few drinks at the bar, such a cozy, neighborhood joint is rare to come by, I’ve found. Every time I’m back for a visit The Heights is one of my stops!

We have been here a few times at this point, the service alone beats anywhere else around, very attentive and quick! We sat down for breakfast at 930 and we're done by a little past 10! Earlier morning there wasn't much of a wait either! The food was very good too! They know what they're doing, I had the migas and they were amazing, definitely my favorite thing on the menu (that I've tried so far) my husband absolutely loves the hash, and we get the oatmeal pancakes for the kids and they love them! We will definitely be back soon! (Everything is also reasonably priced)

Solid cocktails, dry rubbed wings were excellent as were the entrees. Highly recommend.

The Heights Lakewood is one of our favorite spots in Dallas. Most recently, we were there for their St. Paddy's Day event. We were there for hours and, between two of us, ordered a number of things from the menu, plus the daily special. Every bite I put in my mouth was fabulous! They had live music by some fun folks with real talent! The Toasted Oatmeal Granola Pancakes are AMAZING!! Love everything about this place!

An amazing experience. Low key, comfortable atmosphere with amazing dishes at a good price. I had the pot roast which is one of the best I've had. I was there to celebrate an anniversary and could not have had a better experience. Staff is awesome. Hidden Gem.
